The Pine Cone Diner was originally a truck stop. It is now a part of the organic ranching and farming community of West Marin County. We strive to serve a traditional diner menu emphasizing seasonal, sustainable-raised vegetables, fish, meat and poultry. We support artisan farmers and ranchers.

… the best meal of the weekend.

…the Pine Cone has a best-kept-secret element about it that is appealing, despite the fact that locals would probably prefer it be kept that way.

Sure, the Pine Cone Diner has the classic counter with the round bar stools and the green-vinyl-covered tables… the Mile-High Club, with chicken, bacon, cheese, and tomato ($10.75) comes with avocado and caramelized, not raw, onion; a Salmon-burger ($8.75) is slathered with chipotle aioli. The fresh cobbler is served with locally produced Vanilla ice cream ($6.25) is really fresh (so are the waitresses).
